A personal review of the story of four summers Posted at
Sophia Scarlet especially excelled in three things to my opinion: She does descriptions well, with clever use of symbolisms. She painted pictures with words.
I love how she described sceneries and objects. A large bag full of fruit, candy bar, crossword puzzles, water bottles and so on. She managed to make me, for the first time!! Ms Scarlet brings more to the table. When the male character was narrating you could really feel his anxiousness and his insecurities.
While when the female character was telling the story you could taste her apparent cold heartedness and how oblivious she was to his needs. Sometimes the both of them had total different interpretations of the same events.
She did nice things for him because she just cared. He interpreted those caring acts as signs of her everlasting love. She crafted a different romance story. One in which it is the guy who is overbearing clingy and the gal is overly commitment phobic.
But this fact was what made this story stand out for me. This story could have also been called: When he is more into her than she is into him. Him being Finn and her being Georgiana. Besides being an ER doctor Finn is also very demanding and is looking for an instant relationship and Georgiana, still a student, just wants a summer fling.
It takes two succeeding summers to tell the story of their love affair. And is directly smitten. Because by then I was feeling a great dislike for both characters. Their relationship is in all ways disturbingly dysfunctional. The Eleventh Day: The Full Story of 9/11 [Anthony Summers, Robbyn Swan] on benjaminpohle.com *FREE* shipping on qualifying offers.
